B is for Bears

Tuesday will be blue jean day. Please wear your jeans. We will be acting out Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle.

Wednesday is very busy with specials. The class had so much fun in Spanish last week I can hardly wait to see what they learn this week.

Thursday is Backwards Blue Day. The children will wear blue clothes put on backwards.

Fridaywe will bake our own Peanut Butter sandwich. The children will have to tell me step by step how to do it, before the make their own. This is a lot of fun because I will literally do what they say and not mean. This is a great way to learn to give directions to others.

If you are in the building and have a minute stop by the room and we would love to show you thier journals. They are precious.

I hope your children are enjoying school as much as we are enjoying them.

New School Year

Today was the first day of school and everyone did great. Well everyone except the parents. Some had a hard time leaving with out a few tears. We are so excited about the new year ahead of us. I encourage each of you to talk to us if you have any concerns, compliments or ideas for our class. We are very open to each one. We will be learning our new routines this week. But next week watch out we will be going full force and starting on the letter A.
